ViCEM Meeting celebrating the 10th anniversary of ViCEM

November 3-4, 2026 | TU Wien

We are pleased to announce that the next VICEM Meeting – aiming to bring together researchers and clinicians to exchange their knowledge and discuss their findings – will take place on November 3-4, 2026 at Prechtlsaal at TU Wien.

The meeting programme will comprise both oral (20 mins.) as well as rapid fire (5 mins. + poster) presentations. The rapid fire sessions will especially be an opportunity for young researchers to present their work and to network within and between the universities.

  • Prof. Verena Charwat (JKU Linz)
  • Prof. Manuel Garcia Villalba (Technische Universität Wien): Assessing the risk of thrombogenesis in the left atrium using patient derived simulations
  • Prof. Dinesh Katti (North Dakota State University, USA): From molecules to tissues: multiscale mechanics of biomaterials for tissue regeneration and disease modeling
  • Prof. Tobias Winkler (Medizinische Universität Wien)
